My Approach
I came to reformer more than ten years ago, after years of martial arts and intensive dance training. I was an aikido, kungfu, and taichi instructor since the age of 15.
One morning, I woke up unable to walk properly. My knee no longer listened. What followed was a long period of doctors, scans, opinions, suggested surgeries, warnings not to run, and treatments that often created more confusion than confidence.
Reformer Pilates became the place where I could give my body the intensity it was used to, without the impact my joints could not handle at that moment.
Over time, this personal practice became a deeper path. I trained as a Pilates and Reformer Pilates instructor through Polestar Pilates and later Balanced Body, combining technical education with lived experience of what it means to rebuild strength, mobility, and trust from the inside.
Our sessions are private, spacious, and adapted to your body, history, energy, and goals. We work with strength, mobility, posture, control, breath, and awareness — always with care, precision, and respect for where your body is today.
A private reformer session can be deeply intense, but in a clever way.
Not by rushing your body or turning the machine into a generic fitness circuit, but by adjusting the work precisely to your body’s needs and the kind of intensity you personally respond to.
This is what rarely happens in a group class: the rhythm does not have to serve the room. It has to serve you.
Listen
We begin with your body as it is today: its history, patterns, limits, strengths, energy, and signals.
Calibrate
The intensity is adjusted to you — through springs, tempo, resistance, range, sequencing, breath, and support. Not too little. Not too much. Enough to feel alive, strong, and met.
Strengthen
We build strength intelligently, with attention to control, alignment, mobility, and confidence. Over time, the work becomes less about correcting the body and more about trusting what it can feel, hold, and do.
